If you’re coming over here from the family of Dromedary Records fans, many thanks. It’s been a ton of fun, and while we can’t say we’re putting Dromedary to bed forever, it’s certainly tired, and we think it’s time to give it a rest. Special thanks, though, to all the great bands we worked with over the years.
Of course there’s one band I’ll never stop working with (notice how I changed from the “royal we” to “I” in this paragraph), and that’s Stuyvesant. To that end, I’m proud to announce that the first-ever Sugarblast release will be the new Stuyvesant album, called Shmyvesant. It’s due before the end of the year, and it’s another blast (pardon the pun) of guitar-heavy pop with sugary (again with the pun) melodies and punchy rhythms. Hopefully as we forge ahead with a new label and a new direction, Stuyvesant will continue to lead the way (and buy the beer).
Stay tuned, it’s going to be a fun new chapter.
