Even the Folkies Dig Stuyvesant

Mark Tucker at Acousticmusic.com kindly decided to review Shmyvesant this week, the review appearing on the site’s “Folk and Acoustic Music Exchange.”

Seriously.

It’s a great review, though, filled with quotables, including “Shmyvesant is pop for those who don’t get enough ground glass, plywood shards, metal slivers, and fire klaxons in their diet, those who can’t get behind Piper, Smokie, or the aforementioned Raspberries but still want that weirdly attractive teen-bourgeoiseis-next-door element in their music come hell or high water.”

We had to google “fire klaxon,” but yeah, this is a cool review.

Thanks, Mark!
