  2. Slothrust • Of Course You Do – Beautiful and fearless and sludgy, great combination.
  3. ExHex • Rips – Lucky to catch them live this year.
  4. The New Pornographers • Brill Bruisers – Perfect pop.
  5. Overlake • Sighs – Super proud of my buds.  Great tunes.
  6. Real Estate • Atlas – Beautiful dream pop.
  7. Cloud Nothings • Here and Nowhere Else – Great sonic madness.
  8. The Everymen – Givin’ Up On Free Jazz – They worked their asses off this year.
  9. Phantogram – Voices – A couple of tracks on this record were awesome.
