Stuyvesant in the Big Takeover

Shmyvesant_webJack Rabid’s long-running Big Takeover has always been great to us, and today is no different, as Chuck Foster has some super-nice things to say about the Shmyvesant album, including this:

Packed with vocal harmonies, memorable hooks and ballsy riffs, these twelve songs embody “alternative” without falling back on ’90s cliches.  Elements recall Teenage Fanclub’s louder moments or Foo Fighters if they were any good…

Nary a Gin Blossoms reference in the whole review.

Thanks, Chuck!
