Wilfully Obscure Reviews Shmyvesant

Neal Agneta of the great Wilfully Obscure site published a kind and flattering review of Shmyvesant yesterday, saying (among other things):

No, they don’t play a million miles an hour, nor are they vying for a spot on the Warped Tour midway, rather this quartet play it considerably more suave, packing harmonies and deft playing into Shmyvesant’s most immediate and indelible melodic-core numbers, “Hellbent for Heather,” “Baby Bear,” and “Until You Came Around.

He also offers a very temporary MP3 of the album track “Silent Treatment,” a barnburner that, if you haven’t purchased the record already, you should add to your collection right quick, before it goes away.
